For most of my career, I suffered from imposter syndrome.
I wanted to progress in my career, get a better job title, and higher pay, but I knew that my low confidence was holding me back.
Through sheer determination, I developed a method that not only manages imposter syndrome but also builds confidence at work.
I won two awards in one year!
The DHL & Everywoman Award for Innovation & Sustainability and The Women in Logistics Woman of the Year.
BUT, some years later after climbing the corporate ladder....
In my mid-30's I found myself feeling unhappy at work experiencing a kind of career despair, that brought stress and anxiety.
Whilst my career had been a success I felt lacking in self-belief, purpose, direction, and motivation. I wanted to elevate myself with a better job title and more money.
Deep down I knew I deserved it, but my mind would keep telling me otherwise.
I kept telling myself "I can't quit", "I need the money". The truth is I was scared.
After taking some time to explore these feelings, reading a stack of books, and embarking on a Master of Positive Psychology, I realised that this is a normal phase in life.
My journey in overcoming my career change crisis enabled me to design an authentic career path.
I feel motivated, I celebrate my strengths, I feel happy at work, and am rewarded with increasingly better pay.
I learned a BIG lesson.
The only way to achieve real career change and success is to face the inner imposter head-on!
I've helped many clients manage imposter syndrome, build confidence, navigate career obstacles and steer them towards a career change. My experiences in self-development, positive psychology, and managing operations, teams, stakeholders, and customers, give me the credentials to help my clients grow and positively navigate any career crisis or development.
I've dedicated over 22 years to working in large organisations. Alongside this, I've become a qualified coach, trainer, and positive psychologist. Despite the many opportunities available, I've chosen to stay in the logistics industry because I've found a role that truly aligns with my strengths. I genuinely believe that my extensive "real world" experience makes me uniquely relevant and better suited to support you.
In my imposter syndrome and confidence-building coaching program, I use the ASPIRE framework, a 6-step process supported by positive psychology, to build confidence at work for career success. I employ a combination of career coaching, mentoring, and positive psychology intervention techniques.
You've probably tried many things, just like I have, but they didn't work because they didn't get to the real cause of the problem. It's not your fault – I've been there too, feeling misled. Through my journey, I developed, tested, and refined the ASPIRE framework. I believe in its effectiveness, and I want you to experience the career growth and rewards you deserve
